SIMPLE RULES

The court
The field of Boccia measures about 6 x 10 m, but a smaller terrain is also possible according your own available space.

Teams
Two teams are competing.
Each team is composed of 1, 2 or 3 players.
Team 1 uses the red balls, team 2 uses the blue balls.
At the beginning of the game, it must be specified if all players have to throw the balls while sitting.

The game
The game begins.
Team 1 throws the white ball into the court (white ball also called Jack).
Team 1 then throws a red ball and tries to get as close as possible to the Jack.
Team 2 throws one or more blue balls to do better. When a ball is closer to the Jack than the opponent, then it is the turn of team 1 to throw.
The game continues like this until all the balls are thrown.

Points
Points are counted at the end of the game.
The team that has the most balls close to the Jack gets points.
1 point is awarded for each ball better positioned than the best opposing ball, so there is a maximum of 6 points per game.
The team with the most points wins the game.

A complet session
In the next game, Team 2 starts by throwing Jack on the field.
A complete session takes place in 4 rounds.
In a game of Boccia, accessories such as ramps can be used.
